Schedule A Date to Host a MN CALS Course
Minnesota Comprehensive Advanced Life Support (CALS) has openings to offer a CALS Provider Course and/or Trauma Module Course at your facility on the various dates between November 2010 and June 2011 listed below.
Hosting a course will provide you the opportunity to educate and train your staff. CALS renewal is recommended every four years. Additionally, CALS meets the requirements for trauma training necessary for hospitals to complete their trauma certification.
Three days are included in each available block of time to allow for both the two day Provider Course and the 3 hour Trauma Module which can be held the day before the Provider Course. Hosting the Trauma Module is an option each facility has when hosting the Provider Course. It is not required. It is possible to host the Trauma Module without the Provider Course.
There is some flexibility with the dates.
