Pricing for MN Providers
CALS Provider Course
* Physicians: $420
* Physician assistants/nurse practitioners: $320
* Nurses, EMT-Ps and other allied healthcare providers: $265
Fees include CALS Provider Course textbook (3-ring binder only or CD-ROM and 3-ring binder combination) and meals. These fees cover approximately 60% of the total cost of the Provider Course while an annual grant awarded by the Minnesota Legislature and administered by the Minnesota Emergency Medical Services Regulatory Board (EMSRB) covers the remaining 40% of the total cost of the course.
Benchmark Skills Lab
The standard lab fee is $3,400 per Minnesota provider team. The fee includes four team members (two team leaders and two team members).

*Providers who have completed the CALS Provider Course within three and a half years, or are registered for an upcoming CALS Provider Course within six months prior to or following their lab, will be eligible to for a reduction of the lab fees. The reduced lab fee is made possible by an annual grant from the Minnesota Legislature which is administered by the EMSRB.
**The Minnesota Critical Access Hospital grant is available to Critical Access-designated hospitals and is used to defray the registration expense for provider teams. Critical Access dollars are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Contact the CALS Program should you have questions about grant availability.
Pricing for Non-Minnesota providers

Benchmark Skills Lab
The lab fee is $3,600 per team which covers four providers (two team leaders and two team members).
