MN State Grant
A grant administered by the Office of Rural Health and Primary Care, Minnesota Department of Health automatically funds a portion of the tuition fees.

Minnesota Critical Access Hospital Grant
To be eligible to receive funds from the Minnesota Critical Acccess Hospital Grant participants must:

  • Be employed as a provider by a Minnesota Critical Access Hospital.
  • Make it known at the time of registration that you are eligible to receive critical access funds.

Eligibility and the award of grant dollars:

  • Provider Course participants:  When registering, let CALS know that the participant works for a Minnesota Critical Access Hospital. The grant award will be deducted from the registration fee. 
  • Benchmark lab participants: Inform the lab coordinators at time of registration that the participant team is from a Minnesota critical access hospital. Grant funds will be automatically applied to the total registration and the team will be invoiced only the portion of the fee not covered by grant funding.
